And Oh, There Was Some Voting

9 04 2009

The lighter side of Election Day:

Being a responsible citizen and helping out by being a member of the election booth staff didn’t work out for this guy’s karma – his motorcycle got stolen when left behind for only 5 minutes, in front of his house.

Ironically, today’s vote for parliament/DPR seats had the lowest turnout at… the DPR housing complex.

And then there was the election booth head who wasn’t even registered to vote.

Then there’s the case where the deceased still get to vote.

And Jakartans enjoyed empty streets for one day… but also malls packed to the brim.

Not only the malls, apparently a lot of people thought it would be a good idea to go to Puncak.
